2004. The village won the prestigious Kent Village of the Year award.
The annual Goose Fair continues to attract a large number of visitors and provides not only great entertainment but also extra revenue to improve all aspects of village life.
Our Primary School received an outstanding Ofsted report and Amanda Cottrell was installed as the High Sheriff of Kent.
In this decade there was much talk of Global Warming.
